Large flowers of the deepest blackberry red. This has to be one of the the deepest red flowered Dahlias that we know growing to 1.5-1.8 m. The strong growing plants produce flowers up to 25 cm across from late summer onwards. It does help to give this variety an early start as it is a late flowerer however the deep purple foliage makes a valuable addition to the flower border in its own right. This was bred in Austria and introduced in 2003.
