Harry Howarth Memorial Medal Winner 2014. Striking red, very neat form. 1.2m E.G.C. Raiser Les Stothard.

Category: SKU: BLYVAL

Description

Raised by Les Stothard and winner of the Harry Howarth Memorial award at the National Dahlia Society’s trials at Golden Acre park, Leeds, in 2014. This lovely Miniature Decorative is one of the brightest reds I have come across with the blooms being very well formed, having good centres and a very high petal count. The blooms have shown no signs of fading and the shapes back very nicely to the stems. The stocky and compact habit make it an easy variety to grow with the suggestion of 10 up for showing.
