Stunning apricot yellow flowers with orange/red tips on strong growing plants that grow to approx. 1.5m. The blooms themselves have good depth and form and being reasonably weatherproof, makes this variety a good choice for exhibition and garden, though the best quality blooms are produced when grown with some protection. A slightly later flowering variety than some so needs an early stop. 1.5 m. Suitable for exhibition and garden.
For the best size flowers remove the growing point of the plant when 3-4 pairs of leaves have developed and thin resulting side shoots down to allow only 4-5 flowering stems to develop. Once the terminal bud has developed and is about the size of a 10p piece 3-4 pairs of the side buds can be removed to further maximise flower size. If you are growing solely for garden display, then all flowers can be allowed to develop but resulting flowers will be smaller. Dead head regularly.
