Although this variety has been around for a good number of years we only added it to our catalogue in 2016. The immense blooms of peachy pink blends sit right on top of the strong stems. We have found the blooms to be more weather proof than some other Giants, despite the large petal size. To achieve the biggest blooms, which can be up to 30 cm across, and for showing, we would suggest restricting the plants to 2-3 flowering stems after stopping at 3-4 pairs of leaves, and then disbudding down to 5 pairs below the terminal bud when this is visible. For general garden display you can allow all flowering stems to develop and then only lightly disbud. This will result in smaller flowers but more of them. Remove old flowers as soon as possible to help extend the flowering season.
