A chance seedling of our own and a fantastic variety for the garden and for pots. This relatively compact plant grows to 1m and produces masses of burnt orange flowers with a dark eye set against rich purple almost fern like ornate foliage. One of the most admired Dahlias on the nursery since June when we had a few early flowering plants on show in pots. David Brown, an authority on dahlias old and new, and former holder of the National Dahlia Collection, was very impressed with it on a visit to our nursery in September 2015. An excellent garden plant for the summer border flowering well into October, weather permitting. Pollinators love it!
