This yellow sport from Aggie White, which is in turn a sport from Bryn Terfel, certainly caused some excitement when it was first seen at Harrogate Autumn Show a couple of years ago. With arguably better form this immense yellow produced some outstanding blooms for us this year and is already in high demand for next season. We grew plants 3 and 4 up from a 10th June stop though ideally they should have been stopped 2-3 weeks earlier to get blooms on the bench for early shows. The form and size achieved was better than I expected, and I managed to get a few on the benches at Harrogate show. We only removed the side buds down to 5 pairs leaving on all the basal growth as the plants were growing so strongly and this had no detrimental effect on the size of the blooms produced. Grows to approx. 1.5 m when under cover but juts over 1 m when outside. Raised by Christopher White and named after his father in the same way as Aggie White is named after his mother.
