Description

A sport from Hillcrest Duncan Edwards secured by Les Jackson. A stunning rich purple with a distinct velvety sheen. Reliable and weatherproof this compact growing variety will produce blooms with good depth. To get the best results, remove the growing tip in mid-late June and restrict the number of flowering stems to 4-5 per plant. When disbudding remove 4-5 pairs of buds below the main terminal bud. To get extra stem length it however may be advisable to actually remove the terminal bud and flower on the next bud down, removing up to 5 pairs of buds below this.
