An old favourite which has bright golden apricot with a tangerine flush. Flowers can be on the small side for this section but that does not detract from its reliability as a good all-purpose Dahlia. We would suggest growing this about 4-5 blooms up for show purposes and stripping down the side buds (disbudding) to about 4 pairs below the terminal bud on each stem. For general garden display you can easily allow 6-8 flowering stems to develop after removing the growing tip of young plants once they have developed 4-5 pairs of leaves and only remover the first 1 or 2 pairs. Regular dead heading will ensure a longer display as long as the frost doesn’t get there first! Grows to approx. 1.2-1.5 m so remember to ensure plants are well staked and kept tied in.
