I first saw this stunning bright non fading red small decorative at Shepton Mallet back in 2011 when the raiser, Terry Bratcher, entered it and won the Ernest Luckhurst Trophy with 5 blooms coming from only 2 plant. It has been exhibited at shows in the Midlands, South West and South Wales over the last few years where it has performed consistently for Terry and Ron Guest, who was given a few plants to try. In 2015 it was jointly awarded a Gold medal at the National Dahlia Society’s Exhibition Trials and golden Acre Park, Leeds, along side the overall winner of the Harry Howarth Memorial Medal, Askwith Josephine. Good form and reliably weatherproof, Terry describes it as a relatively easy grower producing good show sized blooms when grown 8 up.
