Lovely bright yellow with good classic true decorative form. Short stocky habit growing up to 1.2m. The foliage is naturally a pale green with some growers seeing benefits from feeding with a dose of Epsom salts! Will do well as a Giant or Large. For the best size flowers remove the growing point when 4-5 pairs of leaves have developed and thin resulting side shoots down to allow only 3-5 shoots to develop (2 if exhibiting as a Giant, 4 -5 if exhibiting as a Large). Once the terminal bud has developed and is about the size of a 10p piece 4-5 pairs of the side buds can be removed to further maximise flower size. If you are growing solely for garden display then all flowers can be allowed to develop but the resulting flowers will be smaller. Raised by Tony Kingdom of Barnstable, Devon.
